We started with a sports theme and then narrowed down to the baseball theme. This is the Invitation, I stitched the sides of the original and then scanned it and entered the text. <br />

They will all find homes on cards soon.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcXGhGxuI/AAAAAAAAUXY/WwkoEt1md-M/s1600/CIMG8997.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcXGhGxuI/AAAAAAAAUXY/WwkoEt1md-M/s320/CIMG8997.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508426108695398114" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcWaaANrI/AAAAAAAAUXQ/MI7umi0E9UI/s1600/CIMG8996.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcWaaANrI/AAAAAAAAUXQ/MI7umi0E9UI/s320/CIMG8996.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508426096854447794" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcWFwtGgI/AAAAAAAAUXI/cFZBSA1Eqkk/s1600/CIMG8995.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcWFwtGgI/AAAAAAAAUXI/cFZBSA1Eqkk/s320/CIMG8995.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508426091312519682" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcV64_OiI/AAAAAAAAUXA/8_p6Qf_Nv1w/s1600/CIMG8991.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcV64_OiI/AAAAAAAAUXA/8_p6Qf_Nv1w/s320/CIMG8991.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508426088394471970" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcVmSa4LI/AAAAAAAAUW4/OnAP0Z_CrZM/s1600/CIMG8990.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/THHcVmSa4LI/AAAAAAAAUW4/OnAP0Z_CrZM/s320/CIMG8990.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5508426082863997106" /></a><br /></div>Susan Grapengaterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17621062566480396911noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2021076501204596368.post-15011154970400993472010-07-23T18:19:00.013-05:002010-07-23T18:45:39.275-05:00Dipping Cake Balls the easy Way!Ok, I have baked my cake, mixed in my frosting and then made cake balls with a 1 inch scoop. I place them on parchment paper lined trays and put them in the freezer for several hours. I don't like to use the spoons and this is the easiest way I have found to dip the cake balls.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEoo6XA6OmI/AAAAAAAAUWw/N-T_ZJvRgGA/s1600/CIMG8181.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEoo6XA6OmI/AAAAAAAAUWw/N-T_ZJvRgGA/s400/CIMG8181.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497251278234466914" /></a><br />Place your melts into the Wilton melter, I have tried microwaving, this works the best for me. You can get them at Wal-Mart or Michaels. They have two settings melt, and warm.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEoohKC41II/AAAAAAAAUWo/MpMQer5RXVs/s1600/CIMG8182.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEoohKC41II/AAAAAAAAUWo/MpMQer5RXVs/s400/CIMG8182.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497250845256373378" /></a><br />Your melts are now all smooth and melted! Ready for the dipping!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEooUA_5UfI/AAAAAAAAUWg/NiBajg_Qjv8/s1600/CIMG8184.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEooUA_5UfI/AAAAAAAAUWg/NiBajg_Qjv8/s400/CIMG8184.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497250619489604082" /></a><br />Skewer your frozen cake ball with the bamboo skewers you can use for the grill.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEooFt50S_I/AAAAAAAAUWY/PC0cJdzf3qs/s1600/CIMG8185.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wEpbP1ldCG8/TEooFt50S_I/AAAAAAAAUWY/PC0cJdzf3qs/s400/CIMG8185.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497250373845666802" /></a><br />Dip your frozen cake ball into the melts! We designed it after an antique post card that they found. From the front it looks like a Valentine, but when you open it up, Surprise! I made the base card and copied it onto card stock. Then the hearts were punched, stamped, embossed and glittered! The corner embellishments were also stamped and embossed! Then when all done I hand cut the top and bottom of the card with decorative scissors. Hope you LOVE it!!Susan Grapengaterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17621062566480396911noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2021076501204596368.post-72531574959272544832010-02-01T17:27:00.001-06:002010-02-01T17:27:42.959-06:00Susan Grapengaterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17621062566480396911noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2021076501204596368.post-52619752857771906092010-01-29T12:29:00.005-06:002010-01-29T12:36:40.165-06:00Baby Shower Invite<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms'; font-size: medium; color: rgb(153, 51, 153); ">I just finished this Baby Shower invite for a neighbor. I made the pocket by cutting and scoring the black paper and then adding the polka dot. The band wraps around and the overlap is hidden by the Ooh-La-La which I did on the computer and cut out with scallop scissors. I lined the envelope with the polka dot and gingham.
